- Be in the weight room 3+ times per week
- Addendum to 1: do a better job tracking progress on lifts
- Journal and self-reflect more. Be more comfortable sitting with and sorting through those thoughts.
- Continue Saturday walks through downtown shops with my son.
- Surprise my wife with a trip to a new city (she won't see this)
- Miss 0 of my niece's pee-wee basketball games. Gonna be lit.
- Publish 2+ journal articles
- Have a draft of a publishable book or book chapter
- Don't shy away from difficult topics in the classroom
- Help ramp (back) up our leadership training program, especially aimed at in-career CJ professionals
Some of these are more important than others. Family and self ones take major priority. But I think those will go a long way toward providing positive energy to the professional goals.
