What's for lunch?

Heh, and actually that ring illustrates perfectly the difference between being DINKs and having multiple kids. For our 10th anniversary, she had that original crappy stone reset in a new setting with other diamonds and we went to Costa Rica for a week. For our 20th, we got my sister to watch the kids while we went to the pub for three hours.

Best thing about getting engaged while still in school and married a week after graduating is that I spent very very little on the ring. No pressure when you're both broke.

Yeah I blew that chance, I left for NYC after school and she stayed home. But, we were back together within a year and half.

Noch and Brown too? WTH? Y'all are like a bunch of ladies whose cycles all synced up.

Triple wedding at Neyland before a game in September. Gotta be.

Turkey sandwich for lunch today. But I'm making chicken and dumplings for dinner tonight like a good old southern boy.

I'll be back up at my brother in law's in Franklin in a month for a wedding. Need to know what the must-eat place is. I don't think he eats as well as you guys do.

Depends how pricey you want to get.

Preferably not, I'm sure, but what would be a maximum amount?

Ah, good point. No fine dining. It's not the money as much as the effort involved. We're going to have a rehearsal dinner and a wedding to deal with, so anywhere else we go is going to have to be an elbows-on-the-table kind of place. Plus we would probably have the spawn with us.

McCreary's Irish Pub is my favorite spot in Franklin. You'd like it I imagine. Best place for a Guinness, and really good food. Albeit, it's heavy.

Swanky's Taco Shop is pretty damn good too. I
like Drakes quite a bit, as well. Great menu, awesome beer.

Highly recommend Papa Boudreaux's as well. Authentic Cajun, cooked by a real life coon ass. Those are generally my go-to joints. Puckett's is pretty solid, also.

Hit Granite City on the way out Sunday morning.
