GWN's Fitness Thread

Did a sunrise run this morning back in my hometown. This was the sky. Pretty sweet

There's a park near my house with an outdoor bball court. Biked over and gonna get some shots up. Probably not the top of the exercise hierarchy but it's more fun than anything else you can do at 6am
 
If there's two things I'm confident I could smoke you (and most of the worlds population) in, it's definitely cornhole and blacktop basketball
 
Bout to kick off our first PT session with the new academy class. Session is called the Lunge / Burpee Death March.

At an outdoor track (4 laps = 1 mile), we line up the students down one of the long straightaways.

15 Burpees (including push-up and jump at the top)
Lunge across the infield to the other side of the track
14 Burpees
Sprint back to other side
13 Burpees...

And so on. Get the alcohol and the aleve at the ready...I won't be able to walk for the rest of the weekend.
 
Ended up being 120 burpees, roughly 170 lunges, and 7 full court sprints. This is going to be ugly tomorrow. Pray for me.
