Ed Davis averaging 10 and 7 in 23 minutes while shooting 71%

Another couple weeks of that and I'm trolling the hell out of Grizz thread

Tony wroten and Ed Davis.. Didn't make it cause Lionel wouldn't put them on the court

I hate when coaches refuse to develop draft picks.

Ah, yes.. Isaiah cannon and Donald sloans teams won last night.. They are far superior to rondo

I guess Brandon knight is better than mike conley, the bucks did beat the Grizz afterall

I have zero doubt in Rondo's ability to stuff the box score as the best player on a lousy team. What I strongly doubt is his ability to play championship-quality point guard at a sustained level. When his team gets blown out on their home floor by the hollowed-out shell of OKC, in a game when Rondo is by far the only legitimate star player on the court, it doesn't make me feel any better about him, regardless of how many assists he threw to Kelly Olynyk.

I guess you missed his entire career before the acl injury. That or you think there's some mystery bounty of "championship point guards" floating around.

I think a fundamental difference between us on a lot of these disagreements is that you are willing to look at a guy's physical skills -- athleticism, stick-and-ball skills, etc. -- and go all in on him based on that. I no longer put as much value on an athlete's pure raw ability, possibly because I'm a weary battlescarred veteran of the Michael Vick Wars. We probably would have virulently disagreed about Scotty Hopson back in the day, for example.

Anyway, I'm probably as impressed by you are at Rondo's physical skills. The guy ought to be one of the top players in the league, and he still has a chance to become one. But I've seen enough desultory, team-hurting BS from him in the past that I'm not going to give him the benefit of the doubt until I see him prove otherwise, if and when he gets another chance in a high-leverage situation. JMO.
