I have transitioned to the Wendler 5-3-1 lifting routine and really like it. It's not quite as hard on me physically as the Strong lifts 5x5 was.
Going for a PR on deadlift tomorrow...425
Got 425 on deadlift, and then went for broke and pulled 445. Stoked.
Damn son, that's some serious weight. Don't ever try for max outs but I'm not 100% I could even pull 100 lbs less than that.
Today was pull up variation day: 3 sets of regular, one arm rope assist, head bangers, 30 second hang, then repeat all with a reverse grip.
10 rounds of SkiErg 30 second sprints, 30 second rest in between.
