Had a follow up with the ortho today. Toe is healing up as planned. Out of the boot soon. Can’t run on it until after April 1st. Trying to do what I can.
Know this isn’t of interest to everyone, but I got my purple belt in BJJ this week. This is the hardest I’ve worked towards anything for a sustained period of time in my life.
Brown’s suggestion on supermans is a great one for lower and mid back strength. For lats, I’d suggest pull-ups. If you can’t do many, get a rubber band assist until you build your strength up. Straight bar rows, over hand or under hand, are also great. Last recommendation for overall back...

I logged 200 hours over 173 training sessions in BJJ in 2022. Trying to reach or surpass that again in 2023. So far, off to a good start…through January, I’m at 25 hours.
