Pretty awesome sent off. Everyone is holding up pretty well. He was only 45. He was a diabetic and his blood sugar bottomed out behind the wheel.

We are all very happy that the other 2 vehicles involved weren't injured seriously. Plus, we know he didn't suffer as he was unconscious and then killed instantly.

Little Miss Verc and I have a thing these days where every morning we have a big hug and say "Yay! Another day together!" She's genuinely delighted about it all over again every day, because of course she's five. It's been a big old slice of perspective first thing every morning for awhile now.
