Where is everyone?

Verc, your Capitals suck.

Go Wings!

I agree, they're not very good.

The worst thing about playing Detroit isn't all the cock-knocking frontrunning fans; it's having to play on NBC (of course). It's like watching your college football team play Notre Dame on NBC. It's s three hour Red Wing blowjob.

So, my boss today told me he is becoming store manager at Bowling Green and asked how I felt about moving there to become his assistant manager. Obviously I'm interested. Not 3 hours later, I get a call for a job I put in for 2 months ago. It's the water plant in Clarksville, doing the same thing that I would have done when I interviewed for the water plant in Dickson. I have an interview at 9 tomorrow. So, now I'm Keith Sweat twisted, even though both situations aren't official or anything. The water plant job is probably a more stable and better career, and better benefits with the potential to pay better than Dick's ever could. The assistant manager job would be about 12,000 more a year than starting at the water plant, but the room for growth kind of limits itself, and doesn't have half the benefits. However, when you become a store manager you make 6 digit salary, but that is a very difficult job to obtain. Help me Braves Chop

You should take whichever job funnels you into the career you prefer. If the desirability of the retail career is entirely contingent on being a store manager with a six-figure salary, then you need to honestly assess how likely getting that position is.

Stability, benefits, and better work-life balance are more important (IMO) than your immediate starting salary. If you get to choose between them, take whichever position you think you'll be happier in five years from now.

^Admittedly, that was the part I was not taking into consideration, the long-term factor. It's pretty clear that's what I need to do. Them dollar signs are semi tempting, but that would probably be a shortminded, knee-jerk decision I don't need to make. Appreciate all the advice guys

Plus Bowling Green is in Kentucky. Not sure why you'd move there without a damn good reason.

Best thing in Bowling Green is a place called the Liquor Barn. Huge selection of alcohol. Everything else there sucks. I've worked there a few times and it is a constant battle of Kentucky and Louisville fans and who can give their team a blowjay the best

For all the "no screw that she's overrated" talk Benji usually brings, I figured he wouldn't be an Andrews fan

Bowling Green ain't that bad. Easy access to Nashville and Louisville...decent college town. I always liked it there.

One of the boys I use to hit balls to, and throw BP to committed to Corbin last week as a junior. Was hoping Serrano landed him but it wasn't in the cards. Proud of him regardless. The crazy thing is he literally grew up right next to Mikie.
