Where is everyone?

Jags WR coach:

"I love blake bortles. he's got the IT factor. if it was easy there would be 11 people in the stands and 80,000 on the field."

interesting math there.

I heard somewhere that the North Carolina Senate race is gonna top $100 million in campaign spending. Unbelievable.

So, my boss today told me he is becoming store manager at Bowling Green and asked how I felt about moving there to become his assistant manager. Obviously I'm interested. Not 3 hours later, I get a call for a job I put in for 2 months ago. It's the water plant in Clarksville, doing the same thing that I would have done when I interviewed for the water plant in Dickson. I have an interview at 9 tomorrow. So, now I'm Keith Sweat twisted, even though both situations aren't official or anything. The water plant job is probably a more stable and better career, and better benefits with the potential to pay better than Dick's ever could. The assistant manager job would be about 12,000 more a year than starting at the water plant, but the room for growth kind of limits itself, and doesn't have half the benefits. However, when you become a store manager you make 6 digit salary, but that is a very difficult job to obtain. Help me Braves Chop

Retail management is typically not something to do for the long haul, especially if you're essentially on call. Which position gives you the best opportunity to have a life beyond work?

Retail is about 50 hours a week but you get paid for 40. Never ever do you have a consistent schedule. Water plant, I start 11pm-7am shift, Wed-Sun. Have to work holidays for both jobs so that's a wash. However, if I get my liscense at the water plant, I can move to a different plant when day shift opens up

WU since you're young and don't have a family I would do water plant. You get more free time and room for growth is very important. Just my two cents.

I lean this way also. I've seen many people get swallowed up in retail management. The ones who don't burn out usually lose their self respect after a few years.
