Fantasy Football League

Can you guys give me a cliffs notes version on how fan duel and draft kings work? I understand the salary cap aspect of selecting players, but how do you win?

Literally one week fantasy football

each website has a different scoring format, but you pick a QB, two RBs, three WRs, TE, flex, defense

You can play head to head, league of 10, or tournament style where top xyz% of entries are paid based on the tier they fall in

I see. So you select the style league you want to play in, and it stipulates up front what the payouts are.

Not sure I want to get myself into that or not. Or, I should say, I'm afraid once I start I won't stop.

Tournament is usually top 17-20 percent payout. I've been on there for a about a year, so you basically just find what you like/ feel comfortable with and play. Pretty fun, but best to have a set amount you want to spend per week and stick to it.

Baseball to me is the hardest, I'm pretty decent at football and NBA tho

What amount do you usually play at? I see there's like $25, $10, $5...obviously the more you spend, the more you win.

I'll enter a few at each price range. I like the $5 usually.

Do you usually go WR heavy? I have been because Draft Kings is ppr. This is lineup for this week, so far.

Not a bad looking lineup. Fanduel is .5 per reception.

I like to points chase with one wr, value/upside with second, then my last I like a high upside guy that won't be highly owned. I also rarely pick an expensive QB.

LOL I made fun of Ben's week last week and I think my team may put up an even worse performance this week. One for the ages.
