Where is everyone?

Big Jim Haslam was able to get his kid installed as mayor of Knoxville and governor of Tennessee. I assume that if he'd ever regarded that tax as a meaningful problem, he probably had the power to make it go away. Funny how nobody ever regarded it as an issue until Mike Hamilton's pharaonic building orgy coincided with UT football bottoming out.

Besides, now the UTAD's not even bothering to make its fig leaf contribution to the academic side of UTK anymore. They'll save more between now and 2016 by not paying that than they've paid in out in the Knoxville tax since Casey Clausen was on campus. Knoxville should repeal the tax, sure, but the last thing I want is to hear any whining from the UTAD about how oppressive the tax is. That department has been grossly mismanaged forever.

I heard Pearson will be out for a while. Have no info on Wolf. I will say there did not seem to be a great level of concern, but I will avoid speculating on the extent of the injury.

Wharton and Sawyers are redshirt candidates. Sawyers has played in both games but wasn't on the travel roster for either game. Could possibly be added to this one.
 
Best seats to get for the postgame concert(without getting field pass) next week? Country isn't my thing, but I'm taking my girl to it...
 
Buddy says Sawyers has a lot of work to be done, he said he is hearing the same things about him that he heard about Carr.

But on a positive note, he said Hendrix isn't as far along as Barnett but his money is on him to be the best defensive player of last year's class. Said he is a monster. When it all hits, look out.

Really hope sawyers sticks around. He's gotten some run early.

Wonder if the Wiesman taking over for Mack stuff is true.

That wouldn't be too bad. It would be really nice to see our defense show up and give them absolute fits.
