Where is everyone?

Yep, part of the reason it's entertaining. Smalls is probably rolling over in his grave.

Gonna say this and it may not make sense or I may be misreading Joe Maddon, but...

Ok. He basically just came in through the back door and got Rick Renteria bounced. That's fine, folks like Maddon, he may mesh with the cubs, that's the direction Chicago wanted to go. It's a business.

But I just feel like if some other manager did that and you asked Maddon about it, he would have planted his flag on some moral-high-ground stance like "We have each others' backs in this business. Nasty of that guy to go in and get the other guy fired. Not how us managers should do business. How would he feel if a guy came in and did that to him?"

Feel like all the Maddon business is pretty much a "much ado about nothing" type situation. I was surprised when all of this criticism starting coming out about it.

Not even necessarily criticizing him. I don't much care, and I don't blame him for a second for taking the job.

Nationals probably should have, too.

edit: not probably

UGA is vastly overrated. All these talking heads lately saying UGA is the best team in the SEC lost their damned minds.

The probable SEC East champion is going to have a loss to Indiana. Nobody in this division is any good.
