You pitched a fit over a GD picture of a tit and brought the searchlight down on Fight Club. What the hell.

The mods are in an impossible position right now. Freak keeps getting "sexually explicit content" notices from Google, which impairs his ability to serve Google Ads, which would mean he can't pay for the site. None of us know what counts and what doesn't. Freak himself doesn't know what counts and what doesn't. Shatting yourself because your particular picture got deleted doesn't help.

Nope, not correct at all. I have no problem with 99% of the mods (well not exactly since OWB counts as more than 1% of mods because there aren't 100 of you) and I have no problem with any tits being deleted. I understand the google adsense angle. What I do take issue with is the number of posts that there is nothing wrong with including a ****ing cartoon that have been deleted by OWB ever since we had a disagreement a few months ago
 
OWB is the opposite of an overzealous mod. We have a couple of them, but he ain't one of them. If you've got a problem with him then you probably provoked it.

Look, the Braves thread has operated in its own special little space for awhile. We get a lot of leeway in there. I don't mean to be a dick, but I am not going to tolerate anything that compromises that.

Telling a mod to eat a dick in a thread that you already know most of the mods read is Nati-level stupid.

Maybe he isn't most of the time, but ever since we had a slight disagreement about what was on and off topic in a thread in which there was no naming calling I might add he has been extremely overzealous with my posts. There are numerous posts that are in no way in violation of anything. Should I have bit my tongue and moved on? Yes, it was stupid but does not make my overzealous point false.
 
SN: Just now paid enough attention to realize that this place does not have the millions of ads Volnation. No wonder it loads so much quicker.
 
The main thing Freak wanted assurance about before firing Braveschop back up was that we wouldn't use it as a forum for *****ing about stuff over on VN. Z and I assured him that wouldn't be the case.

This place will vanish forever in a heartbeat if Freak ever thinks that's what we're using it for.
 
Well that why we've got a game thread. Granted a poorly titled game thread, but a game thread nonetheless

I don't know why you think this is funny. If y'all remind Freak that 2013 is posting over here, shltting on mods left and right while he's banned over on VN, then he'll pull the plug on this place without even thinking about it.

Nati may be a dick, and you certainly may have a point that he should be banned, but I don't think he's ever gone ballistic over a deleted post and made a half dozen posts calling out a mod; including one which told said mod to eat a bag of dicks.

Let's see. You get a boobie pic deleted. Attack said mod. Get that deleted until you earn a week ban. Then continue to twist that into a permanent ban (I'm still unclear on this). If that weren't enough, you come over here and persist to blame a mod and insist he's stalking you. Keep in mind, said mod probably hasn't deleted 20 posts combined in the last year.

If there's a textbook way not to handle a deleted post, I'd say you've nailed it and overreacted about as much as humanly possible.

If you want to see some boobies, I'll send you some links. If you want to ***** about a deleted post, like I told you in my email earlier, you can email me to 'get the corncob out of my ass' or to 'eat a bag of dicks' anytime if it makes you feel better.

The day I started having mods volunteer their time to help me moderate the board, I vowed that I wouldn't let them take personal abuse for helping me enforce "my" rules which I believe are best for the board. I appreciate everyone of them who helps keep the place running. If I were OWB, I would have banned you too after you continued with that outburst.

I've disabled your account here as well until you and I can discuss this with you via email. Your reaction to a deleted pic makes absolutely no sense to me. I'm hoping maybe you'll see things differently after a good night's sleep. Or maybe I will. But right now it seems like a lot of drama over nothing.

But you're right, I'd rather it not be a place to come bash the moderating at VN. I don't believe that's the case, therefore you guys are free to do with this place as you wish... within a few basic guidelines of course. :cool:

Maybe the 2013 issues will make more sense to me after some sleep, but as of now I don't understand why he refused to let it go. I don't like banning people at all, and this one seems especially silly for a guy who's been around as long as 2013. Braves thread and baseball forum posters in general are usually good people.

Anyway, just my $.02.
