I'd agree if you had high-contact hitters coming up. With a team full of guys who strikeout a lot and hit the ball hard, I'd rather have the extra out. Ah well. The walk to Heyward made it a moot point.

How did it "work"? Heyward walked. Bases would have been loaded either way. Same situation, except that the Braves gave one of the first two outs away instead of Francisco getting a shot to win it.
 
Good point about the Upton screwjob. Should be 5-4 and Kimbrel should be in there

If we had Schafer instead of Juan on the bench, I'm with Chief/GA. I'd go with the bunt. But with Juan on the bench available, I'd take my chances with him and his home run ability
 
If BJ never made the bonehead throw to the plate and opted to hold the runner at first this one would be in the books.
