Renteria uncertain about his recovery

Edgar Renteria is eligible to come off the disabled list Friday. Whether he'll be ready to play is hard to predict. "I don't know," were the words Renteria and manager Bobby Cox used on the subject Tuesday afternoon. Renteria took batting practice Tuesday for the first time since he re-injured his right ankle taking a pitch in Cincinnati almost two weeks ago.
