Lance Cormier and Brian McCann came through Monday with exactly what the Braves needed — and what they lacked during the weekend when it was needed most. It's harsh referring to a 5-1 victory against the Philadelphia Phillies as anticlimactic, but that's what the Braves' Labor Day win at Turner Field was. "It's a step," said McCann, whose bases-loaded double in the fourth inning provided a lead the Braves didn't relinquish in just their sixth victory in 18 games. "We have to start taking them one game at a time, and winning."
