After his manager took a hit while standing up for Chipper Jones in the fifth inning, Jones delivered a hit -- a very big hit -- in the ninth. Jones hit a game-ending double to left-center field to give the Braves a stirring 5-4 win against the San Francisco Giants in a series opener Tuesday night at Turner Field. Manager Bobby Cox set a major-league career record when he was ejected for the 132nd time for arguing after a called third strike on Jones that ended the fifth inning. The fired-up Braves scored four runs in the sixth to take a 4-3 lead.
