San Francisco — Chipper Jones was out of the lineup Thursday night with a reinjured groin, but the hot-hitting third baseman said he shouldn't miss more than a game or two. "It's not serious," he said before the series finale against the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park. "I just don't want it to get any worse." Jones, whose .346 average leads the National League, said he "tweaked" his right groin when he tried unsuccessfully to beat out a double play in the sixth inning of Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Giants. He played the entire game and struck out in the eighth inning.
