Perfect time for Francoeur

After Braves teammates were subjected to a 30-minute Jeff Francoeur special on the video board during a rain delay Saturday night, the Golden Boy knew he had to come through with the bases loaded in the ninth inning. Or else be prepared for even more relentless razzing than he usually gets from Brian McCann and Tim Hudson. So Francoeur did what he has done so many times in his young career -- deliver a clutch hit. This time it was a two-out single up the middle for a 5-4 win against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Turner Field, after the Braves had blown a 4-0 lead in the seventh inning.
