For those wondering whether the Braves could sustain their pre-All-Star Game momentum over a four-day break, then a return to Turner Field, where they had hit only .248 this season, the answer arrived Friday with some pop. Brian McCann started a 9-1 romp over the Pirates with a three-run home run in the first inning. And he was just getting loose. He doubled and launched another home run in the sixth, his 11th of the season. Andruw Jones and McCann hit back-to-back home runs in the sixth to start a six-run outbreak and continue the good work both had started before the break.
