San Francisco — This National League squad wouldn't go quietly into the cool San Francisco night, but finally they went. Aaron Rowand flied out with the bases loaded as a ninth-inning rally fell short and the American League held on for a 5-4 win Tuesday night in the 78th All-Star Game at AT&T Park. After Cubs slugger Alfonso Soriano hit a two-run, two-out homer in the ninth off Seattle closer J.J. Putz, the NL drew three consecutive walks before Rowand flied out against Angels closer Francisco Rodriguez to extend the AL's unbeaten streak to 11 consecutive All-Star Games.

I hate AL baseball. :)

11 in a row is unreal.
