Rookie Reyes hit hard as Braves fall

San Diego — As much as the Braves were hurt by five runs off Jo-Jo Reyes in his major league debut, the brevity of his performance proved especially problematic. Reyes left without recording an out in the fourth inning, and the Braves' tired bullpen sprung a leak in the seventh inning of an 8-5 loss to the San Diego Padres on Saturday at Petco Park. The loss ended a three-game winning streak for the Braves, who'll finish the series with the Padres tonight before taking four days off for the All-Star break.
