Betemit gets back at Braves again

Los Angeles -- Wilson Betemit hasn't lived up to expectations most nights with the Dodgers, but the ex-Braves infielder certainly steps it up against his former employers. He hit a two-run homer and a two-run double in the first three innings to help Los Angeles to a 7-6 win Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium, the Braves' third consecutive loss after a five-game winning streak. Kyle Davies couldn't protect leads of 3-1 in the second inning and 6-3 in the third for the Braves, who wasted another opportunity to gain ground in the N.L. East on a night when division leader New York lost again.
