The optimism that was stoked by the Braves' fast start has been replaced in many quarters by frustration over a long stretch of mediocrity, and concern over the possibility of another crippling June swoon. Kyle Davies dug them a huge hole early in Wednesday's series finale against Florida, and the patchwork Braves couldn't extricate themselves during a 7-4 loss at Turner Field that continued their recently woeful home work.
