The Braves' best lineup has rarely presented problems for Mets pitcher Oliver Perez. A lineup sprinkled with backups offered even less resistance. Perez got an early lead and dispatched Chuck James and the Braves with ease Wednesday night in a 3-0 Mets win at Turner Field, the seventh loss in 10 games for the Braves. They've been shut out three times this season, all at home. "Too much Perez tonight," said Braves manager Bobby Cox, who tried a different lineup in hopes of a different result against Perez (6-3).
