Gonzalez: 'It feels like a home game'
Gonzalez: 'It feels like a home game'
Fredi Gonzalez slept at home in Marietta for the first time in eight weeks, stopped by the neighborhood coffee shop, took the family car for an oil change, and planned to watch his son, Alex, play this morning in East Cobb Baseball. But the sense of normalcy was put on hold shortly after the former Braves third-base coach arrived at Turner Field on Friday afternoon. He went past the Braves' clubhouse and around to the visitors', where Gonzalez changed into his Marlins uniform and prepared to manage against his friend and ex-boss, the icon across the way.
