Boston — With more than a quarter of the season gone and Andruw Jones' average slipping toward .200, Braves manager Bobby Cox made a move he hoped to avoid. He dropped Jones from fourth to sixth in the batting order, which spoke volumes of the severity of his slump. And then it reached a new low. Jones went 0-for-5 with five strikeouts Sunday, matching a franchise record done just twice previously — by Harry Stovey in 1891 and Bob Sadowski in 1964 — according to the Braves media guide.
