Pittsburgh — The Braves had won six of their past eight games playing small ball. So who was to be bothered about some statistician's discovery that the Braves hadn't gone this long without a homer in 24 years? Well, Andruw Jones does swing with a little passion for the long ball. So it was fitting that he's the one who broke the Braves out of this little "slump" Friday night. Jones hit a two-run homer to center off Zach Duke to ignite a four-run rally with two outs in the sixth inning as the Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-1. Kyle Davies gave up one run in seven innings to win for the first time since Sept. 19.
