San Francisco — Carlos Beltran, bald as a cue ball, walked around the clubhouse Wednesday admiring his handiwork. He went from Jorge Sosa to John Maine to David Newhan, snapping photos with his digital camera, before stopping in front of Jose Reyes, who was seated at a table. Beltran shook his head. Reyes succeeded in keeping his hair overnight, the only Mets player to do so besides Aaron Sele, who was granted an exemption from the team's show of solidarity. Sele is taking family pictures Thursday and has vowed to have a buzz cut by Friday afternoon. "We've got his room number," Paul Lo Duca said of Reyes.
