Mike Gonzalez is rested and ready for a weekend series at Pittsburgh, his first against the Pirates since they traded him to the Braves for Adam LaRoche in January. After a sluggish first week and a brief elbow scare in mid-April, Gonzalez has found his groove. Lately he has flashed his form of last season, when he converted 24 of 24 save opportunities. "I'm not there yet, but I'm getting there," the hard-throwing left-hander said Thursday, when he had a day off after pitching four times in six days.
