Denver — There's more troubling news on the Braves' pitching front. Lance Cormier was scratched from a scheduled injury-rehab start for Class AAA Richmond due to recurring soreness in his right arm. He returned to Atlanta to be examined today. Cormier had been scheduled to make his second rehab start today, and Braves manager Bobby Cox hoped he might be ready to rejoin Atlanta's rotation if that went well. But he had discomfort throwing Tuesday in Miami and again when he went for treatment Wednesday. Cormier felt tightness during the second inning of his two-inning rehab start Monday.
