So we are 11 games into the season. With what you know and have seen so far, do you think we have a legitimate chance in making a good run?

My God. Im turning into Finevol. :'(

I'm pleasantly surprised so far. I am trying not to expect too much so early.

It definitely looks like the Mets will be the main competition for the Braves again this season.

Florida has some young guns in there. I think they will be right up there with the Mets in giving us a run.

With the lineup they have, the Mets have to be the team to beat. If their starting pitching doesn't completely implode (which, given the rotation's age, is entirely possible), they should win the division pretty easily.

In order to win the division, the Braves need to get more offense out of LF and 1B than I think they will. They'll also have to figure out something about the back end of the rotation.

I'm not sure how things will pan out...the starting pitching so far has been tremendous (redman excluded). I have a lot more confidence in the bullpen, even though gonzalez hasn't impressed me and a couple of guys cant ever find the plate. Soriano has looked good with the exception of 1 outing, and Wickman is the man. My major concern is run support. If more of the bats don't warm up, it will be hard to hang with the Mets throughout the season. Florida may stick around for a while, but Philly will have a year like the Braves had last year and finish no better than 3rd in the division. I've typed enough...i'm gettin some sleep!
