The Braves have traded left-handed relief pitcher Macay McBride to the Detroit Tigers in exchange for left-handed reliever Wilfredo Ledezma. Ledezma has appeared in 23 games for the Tigers this year, all in relief. He is 3-1 with a 4.79 ERA. In 35 2-3 innings he has allowed 38 hits and 26 walks while striking out 24.

I think it's safe to say an organization has given up on you when they trade you for a guy sporting a WHIP of almost 2.00.

I like Macay McBride and I wish him well. However, I like this trade for Braves. Ledezma gives versatility and flexibility in the sense he can be a reliever or starter (which we need).
